Snow. The first word that came with Christmas. But Christmas isn't about snow or pine trees or santa. It's about respecting Jesus' birth and remembering his kindness to all human in this world.
Luckily, in my country, there is no snow. I can't imagine how cold it could be if there is a snow in Indonesia.
All of those things that symbolize Christmas like pine tree, star, and santa, they have their own meanings. They're not just a decoration, they're more than that.
Pine tree is the only tree who can survive in snow and winter. It symbolize an immortality. So, it means Jesus' love to us is never die. His love is everlasting.
Star symbolizes those three magis who saw a star shining in the sky and they knew that the savior comes to this world.
Santa symbolize Jesus. Remember when you used to think that Santa gave you present every Christmas night? Well, Jesus gave us present too, but not in the form of food or toys. His present is precious. Jesus' present to us is our lives and we should thankful for it.
As return of His present that'll make him happy, we have to do something nice. So, have you done something nice this year? Well if no, then do it now! Christmas is coming! ^^
